I think Bolin is better looking than Mako and has a better body. Well, Mako is this generic “hot” while Bolin is simply cute and his face has more unique features like his nose.  I’ve talked with people who have admitted to shipping Makorra since “Their character designs have been released.”  There is no doubt about it that Mako’s looks the biggest reason why anyone ships Makorra.   Even in blog posts trying to write deep analyses about why “Makorra is a good romantic relationship”, they usually write a bunch of reasons to give the illusion of there being deep, character reasons why they want these characters to be together, they still go out of their way later to point out that “Mako is hot.” >deep analyses about why “Makorra is a good romantic relationship”, they usually write a bunch of reasons to give the illusion of there being deep I find it funny that there are people who discuss how deep the characters are and honestly, while I enjoy the show, there is a huge lack of character development and you don’t learn much about the characters either aside from their brash decisions and teenage angst. The only reason Makorra is good together is because they’re both insensitive sociopath assholes. Korra using Bolin to make Mako jealous. Mako having a boner for Korra while dating Asami and shamelessly breaking Asami’s heart time after time in front of her face.
